Reservations

It is actually much easier to reserve a long distance wedding than you might think. Just follow the simple steps below.

• You can either contact us by phone (it is always reassuring to hear a live voice) to discuss any questions or concerns you may have, by email to check on the availability of the date, or simply complete our convenient online form and we will contact you within two business days.
• A non-refundable deposit of $300 or 20% of the total cost of your wedding, whichever is greater, is required to reserve the date and services. Some private locations may require an additional non-refundable deposit. The deposit covers our services for reserving and confirming your wedding, and will be applied to the cost of your wedding. 
  
• Payment may be made by any major credit card either through the PayPal link below or by completing and faxing our agreement form (see Payment by Fax below), by electronic check through PayByCheck (link below), or by mailing a money order, cashiers check, or personal check. Please scroll down for payment links. The deposit covers our services for reserving and confirming your wedding and will be applied to the cost of your wedding.
• After all the services have been arranged and confirmed, we will send you a confirmation packet with an invoice detailing the services you have requested and your remaining balance, which will be due at least one month prior to your wedding date. Please note that for dates in high demand, the balance will be due at least two months prior to your wedding date. Your confirmation will also include maps to the marriage license agent and to the wedding site.
  
• If you need to change the date or time of your wedding, a 10% reschedule fee will apply. If any of the individual services are canceled after they have been confirmed, a 20% service fee will apply.  The balance is non-refundable if a cancellation is made within one month prior to your scheduled wedding, or two months prior for high demand dates. Cancellations must be received in writing.  
• By submitting your deposit, you agree that you will not hold Maui Weddings From The Heart responsible for non-performance of services due to your failure to show for your scheduled wedding for any reason, including airline cancellations, acts of war or terrorism, acts of God or nature, mechanical failure of vehicles, or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Maui Weddings From The Heart.
• Though it rarely rains in South Maui, in the event of rain, our first option, if possible, would be to move to a beach farther down the coast with no rain.  Our second option would be to hold your wedding on the lanai of your hotel if that is acceptable to you.  Our third option would be to postpone your wedding to the next available date.  A reschedule fee may apply.
• It is recommended that you purchase trip insurance to cover the entire cost of your wedding and vacation just in case the unforeseeable happens and you are not able to make your trip as planned.  Trip insurance is offered by many companies on the Internet.
• Please note that we do not schedule weddings on Sundays (except when Valentine's Day falls on a Sunday), Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
