Photography

Our professional photographer combines several styles of photography encompassing creative, traditional, and photojournalistic, and strives to capture the love, romance and joy of the occasion. See our photo gallery for a sample of Shasta's work. Your digital photos are taken with a Nikon D300 12 MP SLR camera, 18-200 Nikkor lens, and SB-800 speedlight.  Approximately twice as many digital images are taken as are included in your package. 

Your images are shot in RAW format.  Then hours are spent at the computer in post production individually color correcting each image - adjusting the brightness and darkness and color balance as necessary to bring out the absolute best in every shot.  The final images will be between 4 and 7 MP, which allows for quality printing for up to 16x20 inch enlargements.

After the final editing process, your images will be uploaded to Pictage.com into your own personal photo gallery.  You'll be able to view your images individually and in a slide show, and can invite as many people as you'd like to view your album an unlimited number of times.  Your online gallery will be available for three months, where you and your family and friends will be able to order professional quality prints, enlargements, storybook albums, traditional albums, DVD slideshows, and greeting cards.  At the time of ordering, you can request that imperfections be removed such as blemishes, wrinkles, scars, eyeglass glare, and facial shine. 

You will receive a professionally printed and bound Photo Book with your images printed on quality photo paper.  A Photo CD is available for purchase.  Copyright privileges will be released to the couple only; family and friends must order prints & other products from Pictage.com.  You will be able to choose the images that are included in your Photo Book, with the option of purchasing extras.

Prices are for South and Central Maui locations. A travel fee of $60 and up is charged for travel to other parts of the island.
